1st trip to the dentist!!

Gaven's 1st trip to the Dentist on Wednesday was a success.   We took him to the Janesville Pediatric Dental Clinic, where they do not let parents or anyone back in the room with the child so Gaven have to be brave and do it all on his own.   Cathy met me up at work with Gaven and came along so it was nice to have her with.   Then she joined in on the consulant the dentist and Hygenist had with me.   Which was nice as she is a big help with his dental care too.  Mamow and Gaven brush a couple times a day in fact.

Well Cathy and I waited in the waiting room, of course me a nervous wreck, the hygenist took Gaven back. When he came back out his eyes were puffy and his face was really red, but the Hydenist said he was a big trooper.   They got X-rays and did a full cleaning.   GOOD JOB GAVEN!!
Mamow, Daddy and I got an A+ too from the dentist on his dental care said his teeth look good.   Gaven has a spot on one tooth (which we thought was a cavity and reason we even started the dentist) that has what is called a Hypoplasia, which is where the enamel in the tooth did not fully develope fully like his other teeth.  At this point no filling is needed just need to keep an eye on it.   He will go back in 6 months for another cleaing and the dentist will determine the next step for that tooth at that time.
Overall Gaven did an awesome job....Mama is sure proud of him.
